Getting a Canadian Skilled Worker Visa from Dubai

To be able to be eligible for a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa under the Skilled Worker program for skilled professionals, applicants must be able to achieve the following criteria:

  • Applicant must have at least one year of full time, paid continuous job for the past 10 years in a skilled occupation listed in the Canadian National Occupational Classification.
  • Or, an applicant can have an Arranged Employment supported by the LMIA or the Labour Market Impact Assessment. Job offer must provide you a permanent job from a Canadian employer
  • Or, If you have PhD completed in the country or you have completed 2 years of studies which leading towards a PhD from a recognized school or institution
  • Pass the English or French language assessment test

In addition to that, the applicants under the Federal Skilled Worker Visa must score not lesser than 67 points from the CIC or the Citizenship and Immigration of Canada.

Canadian Immigration program, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, is being processed under the Canadian Express Entry system. Those candidates who were able to reach the minimum score will need to make an Expression of Interest profile online to be able to be selected and granted an Invitation to Apply for Resident Visa
